Neutering cats
Sometimes it is very difficult to live with cats since you have to bear the smell coming from the spray-like urine they produce after 7 to 12 months old. This kind of emission is useful for them to mark their territory to other males and call the attention of female cats, and it coincides with their sexual maturity.
When the animal is living outside and just enters home to eat and sleep, this smell is almost not felt, but when it lives all the time with us, without the possibility of going out, you find it almost impossible to live together without neutering them.
Neutering is also favourable because it prevents them from coming back with wounds and infections, produced after fights with other male cats. If they are neutered at an early age, before they start with these “outings or night excursions”, these sanitary problems are avoided.
