It is very common cats show secretions or “eye rheum” and in this case they have to be removed using some cotton soaked with warm tea. If these secretions are repeated, it has to be taken to the veterinarian.

It is also necessary to consult a veterinarian when the cat shows what is called a “third eyelid”, because it is usually produced by some kind of pathology or trauma.
