Cats are generally very obsessive with their own sanitation. If the cat is long-haired, old or does not take care of its hygiene, it must be helped with regular brushing. At the beginning this must be done softly, without pulling its hair and scraping its skin and trying the animal feels it like “cuddling”.

Cats can be bathed but they have to get used to it when they are kittens, since it is very traumatic for them especially if they have not decided it.

They have to be bathed with neutral soap, avoiding the use of conditioning or untangling creams.
